The following Ambassadors began participating in DO-IT as Scholars in 2005. They continue to pursue college and career goals and encourage younger DO-IT Scholars and Ambassadors.

Spina bifida. Pursuing an associateās degree at Yakima Valley Community College and plans to transfer to Central ŗ£½Ē“óÉń University to pursue a bachelorās degree in law and justice with a minor in physiology. Wants to work in the juvenile court system. Married.
Cerebral palsy. Earned an associateās degree from Yakima Valley Community College. Plans to transfer to Central ŗ£½Ē“óÉń University to work towards a communications degree. Would like to work as a public relations advocate for people with disabilities.
Central core disease, muscular dystrophy. Earned a bachelor of arts in community psychology from ŗ£½Ē“óÉń Bothell. Currently pursuing a masters of social work from the ŗ£½Ē“óÉń. Works as a program coordinator for the DO-IT Center.
Dyslexia. Graduated from Green River Community College. Works for Chase Bank as a branch manager.
Cerebral palsy. Pursuing a certificate in theater and art at Shoreline Community College. Considering pursuit of an associateās degree. Volunteers at the Hunger Intervention Program food bank and with Summer Meals, helping serve healthy lunches to less fortunate kids. Volunteered at a kidās theater camp in summer 2014.
Dysgraphia. Earned an associateās degree in fire science. Completed classroom training to become a paramedic. Earned a national certification of firefighter paramedic and now works as a paramedic in Dallas, Texas.
Learning disabilities. Works in billing for a house-cleaning service on an island in the San Juans. May pursue a dental program.
Cerebral palsy. Enjoys playing bass guitar, working out, and having a good time with friends.
Tourette syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder. Graduated from college with degrees in criminal justice and Spanish. Currently works much of the year overseas as a Rick Stevesā Tour Guide. Volunteers with the Seattle Police.
Learning disability. Earned a personal trainer certificate from Bellevue College (BC). Plans to return to BC for an associate of science degree, then attend a four year college for a degree in exercise science. Works part-time.
Asperger syndrome. Earned a bachelorās degree in forensic psychology and a certificate of crime analysis from Seattle University. Working on a second novel.
Cerebral palsy. Graduated from the ŗ£½Ē“óÉń. Works at the Arc of ŗ£½Ē“óÉń on policies regarding disability legislation. Also worked on the committee to make the āAccessible Communitiesā website. Plays wheelchair basketball for the Tacoma Titans. Received a DO-IT Trailblazer award in 2010.
Graduated from Eastern ŗ£½Ē“óÉń University.
